Ref: Jhargram PS Case No. 29/17 Dt.07.03.17 U/S-25 (1-A)(1-B) Indian Arms Act. On 07.03.17 at 23.35 hrs. received a written complaint from one SI Surjya Sekhar Ghosh of KGP (T) PS to the effect that on 30.04.2016 one Shakti Kr. Shankar lodged a written complaint at KGP (T) PS to the effect that on 30.04.2016 at 03.30 hrs. while complainants father went out of his house for natures call he heard sound of firing from house of Rohit Shanar & he noticed some unknown persons emerged from house of Rohit Shankar & they also threatened him & assaulted him by fist & blows & on shouting they fled away. Over this started KGP (T) PS Case No.-152/16 dtd.-30.04.2016 U/S-323/307/506/120B IPC & 25/27/35 Arms Act & as per direction SI Surya Sekhar Ghosh took up its investigation. During investigation 1)Radheshyam Sing @ Pratullo (34) S/O Siraj Sing of station road, Bagbera, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand 2)Sanjoy Kumar @ Prasad (27) S/O Joggeswar Prasad of Old settlement, PS-KGP (T), 3) K.Krishna Rao (32) SO-D.K Ganga Rao of Biswaranjan Nagar, Purigate, KGP & 4) J.Sankar Rao (35) S/O Lt. J Srinivash of Kharida, Kumar Para, KGP (T), MDP (W) were shown arrest & Lt. CJM Court MDP (W) granted 08 days remand. During PC period on examination of J.Shankar Rao he confessed that he was engaged in illegal arms trading with Sanjoy Kumar @ Prasad, K. Krishna Rao & one Manoj Singh @ Manoj Thakur. According to the confessional statement SI Surya Sekhar Ghosh along with J.Shankar Rao & force holding raid at Road side Jungle at Lodhasuli near mile stone 167 on NH-6, the place was approx 30 mtrs. away from NH-6 towards south ride & recovered 02 number of improvised pipe guns loaded with ammunitions one in each & 02 no of 8 mm ammunitions as shown by accd.
