Deputy Superintendent of Police (Operation-II), Jhargram Police District, Camp Office at Nayagram, Qualification: Bachelor of Technology. Joined the Swami Vivekananda State Police Academy, West Bengal on 5th April, 2012. Passed out from the SVSPA on 16th June,2013 with distinction (winner of ‘Sword of Honor’ in the 62nd Batch). Completed probation period in both Jalpaiguri District and Siliguri Police Commissionrate. First effective posting at Jalpaiguri District as Deputy Superintendent of Police (Crime). Later on 7th January, 2015 transferred and joined in Jhargram Police District as Dy.S.P (Operation-II). Supervised the counter insurgency operations in this LWE area and also supervised the work of both Nayagram and Gopiballavpur Police Station.
During his service tenure, he successfully conducted numerous operations in Nayagram and Gopiballavpur PS areas (close border with Odissa) and took part in operation in which veteran maoist Susil Mahato @ Sunil Mahato @ Driver and Sarnalata Mahato (Murmu) @ Nila apprehending in the jurisdiction of Gopiballavpur PS area.
